experienced and passionate Child Health Nurses to join our
Community Health team at Hedland Health Campus in the Pilbara,
delivering
high‑quality
care to children and families.
To be successful, you will
have...
- Possession of, or
substantial progression towards, the attainment of a
Graduate Certificate in Child and Adolescent Health Nursing
through and accredited educational
institutional.
- Understanding of the
Principles of Primary Health Care and its application to
practice.
- Demonstrated
effective interpersonal written and verbal communication
skills and ability to communicate across a diverse spectrum
of the population.
- Demonstrated
knowledge and understanding of cultural issues and social
determinants, particularly relating to Aboriginal and
culturally linguistically diverse communities in regional
areas.

Promotes the health and wellbeing of
children, families and specific community groups using a range
of health promotion, health surveillance and early
intervention strategies that are based on the principles of
Primary Health care and service priorities.
