Recruitment Pool for Permanent Full Time, Permanent Part Time,
Fixed Term Full Time, Fixed Term Part Time and Casual appointments,
with the possibility of extension(s) and/or
permanency.

Our
Home Hospital service enables eligible patients to
be transferred home and receive hospital standard care to complete
their recovery. The service is managed by the
SMHS Community Services program and was formerly known as
Hospital in the Home (HITH).
The
Home Hospital service:
•
enables you to receive safe, quality care in the comfort of
your home or occasionally at our one of our Home Hospital
clinics
•
can reduce your length of hospital stay
•
lessens the likelihood you will need emergency hospital care
related to your condition.

catchment area stretching more than 3300 square kilometres across
the southern half of Perth.

As a
Hospital in the Home Registered Nurse, you will be
part of a multidisciplinary team, provides comprehensive
evidence-based nursing care to patients. Facilitates and promotes
patient safety and quality of care. The Registered Nurse practices
within their scope of practice considerate of the Nursing and
Midwifery Board's Nursing Practice Decision Flowchart.

This pool is to
cover home hospital RN positions across SMHS, including bases at
the Rockingham/Peel region.

To be eligible
for appointment, applicants must have a valid working visa (for
fixed term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent
resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia
(for permanent appointments).
