The Opportunity
As a Team Leader you will lead and supervise a customer service team for rebate programs. Using your extensive experience you will provide the first point of contact on many occasions to the general public, and assess customer eligibility and suitability for the WA Seniors Card and other administered rebate programs. In conjunction with the Manager and Coordinator you will also implement, maintain and improve financial controls, internal procedures and conduct the payment of rebates to individuals.
You will also be responsible for:
- Inducting and training Senior Card Officers in all aspect of their duties while also monitoring their achievement of performance standards and target attainment
- Monitoring and reviewing the team and individuals performance while recommending improvement strategies to the Manager and Coordinators.
- Set workplans and conduct regular performance appraisals, providing ongoing feedback, coaching and proactive support to the Seniors Card Officers.
- Preparing reports and correspondence on outcomes and discussions arising from customer contact.
