About the role

This position operates within a small, customer-focused team that manages the majority of HR-related enquiries across the Department of Justice. As the primary contact point for all staff and stakeholders, you will play a critical role in ensuring clear, effective communication relating to a wide variety of HR entitlements, responsibilities, services and systems.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing timely and professional assistance to employees and managers, including the resolution of complex HR matters and support for management functions.
  • Delivering accurate, comprehensive, and professional advice and guidance to foster confidence in HR services.
  • Acting as a trusted source of support, ensuring staff and stakeholders receive clear information and are appropriately referred to specialised HR areas when required.

This role is integral to maintaining a positive client experience and strengthening the Department’s HR service delivery through professionalism, responsiveness, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Eligibility

To be eligible for appointment to permanent positions in the West Australian Public Sector you must be an Australian citizen or have permanent resident status in Australia.
