Position Profile:
Senior Data and Information Governance Officer
Support the strategic review
of data and information governance activities to ensure the
development, implementation and maintenance of effective governance
and coordination of data management activities across WA Country
Health Service (WACHS). Support, develop and implement a data and
information governance framework throughout WACHS. Supports
contentious data and information requests specific to privacy,
state records and relevant data and information management policy
and legislation.

Profile: The WA Country Health Service (WACHS) is the
largest country health system in Australia and one of
the biggest in the world, providing health services to
approximately half a million people, including
45,000 Aboriginal people, over a vast two and a half million
square kilometre area. The organisation comprises seven
regions, with a strong network of public hospitals, health services
and health centres located across rural and remote Western

Suitable

made when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from
this pool until 30/06/2026.
