About us

The Mental Health Advocacy Service (MHAS) is established under Part 20 of the Mental Health Act 2014.  It is an independent body providing support, advocacy and rights protection for identified persons, including involuntary mental health patients and psychiatric hostel residents. The Chief Mental Health Advocate (the Chief) engages Senior Mental Health Advocates (Senior Advocates) who supervise Mental Health Advocates, Youth Advocates and other specialist Advocates.

About the role


The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for to the outcomes through:

  • Supporting the development, monitoring and evaluation of optimal business reporting in alignment with MHAS strategic objectives.
  • Coordinates the organisational reporting cycle including development of process maps, documentation, insightful reports and analytical tools to enable stakeholders to measure performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • onduct benchmarking and provide advice on analysis of performance and continuous improvement initiatives.
