What is our Hospital Service Assistant
role?
This position is
responsible for providing assistance with transferring, lifting,
re-positioning and ambulation of patients. Duties include assisting
other members of the multidisciplinary team under the direction of
the Registered Nurse, collecting and moving equipment or materials
around the hospital and cleaning the patient’s environment,
including ward and utility rooms.

Eligibility to
Apply: Australian citizenship or
permanent residency is an essential requirement for applicants to
be considered for permanent positions in the public sector. To be
eligible for a fixed term appointment you must have documentary
evidence of your entitlement to live and work in Australia for the
period of the contract.

from this process. Both of these options remain valid for a period
of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses
the recruitment decision.
