Consultant Year 1-9:
$412,161 - $523,436 per annum, pro rata*
The above salary is as per
WA Health System Medical Practitioners AMA Industrial Agreement
2024 (inclusive of base salary, 12% superannuation, and PD
allowance). This is subject to the assessment of qualifications,
clinical skills, and years of practice.

Brand-new facilities including a cutting-edge Intensive Care Unit
(ICU) and High Dependency Unit, Emergency Department and Mental
Health Inpatient Unit are opening soon.
Launching in mid-2026, our modern 8‑bed ICU will support a range
of specialties and deliver high-quality critical care to a diverse
patient population. This is a rare opportunity for Consultant
Intensivists to join at the ground floor and play a major role in
shaping how critical care is delivered across the region.

As a Consultant Intensivist you will:
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centred critical care in a
brand-new, purpose-built ICU
- Provide expert leadership in the management of critically
unwell patients across the region
- Mentor, guide, and inspire junior medical staff, fostering
a culture of excellence, learning, and innovation
- Drive clinical governance initiatives and contribute to the
strategic development and growth of ICU services
- Collaborate with a passionate, multidisciplinary team
committed to redefining regional critical care

The Successful Candidates Will:
- Have a current full registration with the Medical Board of
Australia.
- Have Fellowship of the College of Intensive Care
Medicine (CICM) or an equivalent
qualification.
- Have substantial postgraduate medical experience
in intensive care medicine in
a hospital setting within
Australia.
About The Pool and
Appointment
This is an active recruitment pool which will be assessed in two
rounds.
- Round one – end of March 2026
- Round two – end of April 2026
The pool will fill immediate vacant positions and future
vacancies. Please note that after filling the current vacancies,
all suitable applicants will be placed in the pool for future
appointments. Appointments may be made from this pool
until 30/12/2026.
