The
Opportunity:
There has never

Relations and Community Programs Directorate at the WA Department
of Health.
A focus on wide-ranging and
high-profile national system reforms across aged care, disability
and health have created opportunities for the WA Health system to
bring about changes that positively impact the health outcomes for
our most vulnerable West Australians.
The Community Programs team
designs and delivers strategic programs at the interface of the
hospital system and aged care, disability and broader health and
community service systems, including programs that support timely
discharge from hospital.
We are seeking applications

change across a range of portfolios.
We are seeking people who
have proven experience in delivering strategic projects, managing
teams and are experienced in stakeholder
engagement.
Position
Description
The Manager will
lead the delivery of strategic projects and community programs to
achieve project outcomes related to the discharge of long stay
patients and will support the achievement of organisational
objectives.
Eligibility to
Apply: To be eligible for appointment, applicants
must have a valid working visa (for fixed term appointments) or be
an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live
and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent
appointments).

Conditions: WA Health engages staff in positions of
trust and responsibility. WA Health policies require applicants to

Whilst this
selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy,
it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout
the health service. In addition to this, should the successful
applicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the next
most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process.
Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12)
months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment
decision.
