This is a
appointment for Fixed Term Full time at 75 hours per fortnight,
with the possibility of extension(s) and/or
permanency.
We currently
have two full time fixed term positons available, one of which is
available until 30/06/2028, with the possibility of extension(s)
and/or permanency.

Opportunity:
There has

Relations and Community Programs Directorate at the WA Department
of Health.
A focus on
wide-ranging and high-profile national system reforms across aged
care, disability and health have created opportunities for the WA
Health system to bring about changes that positively impact the
health outcomes for our most vulnerable West
Australians.
The
Community Programs team designs and delivers strategic programs at
the interface of the hospital system and aged care, disability and
broader health and community service systems, including programs
that support timely discharge from hospital.
We are
seeking applications from talented individuals eager to work in a
team environment that is agile, dynamic and focused on delivering
positive outcomes and change across a range of
portfolios.
We are
seeking people who have proven experience in delivering strategic
projects and are experienced in stakeholder engagement.
Position
Description
This role
leads and oversees all aspects of project development and
implementation including preparing business cases and project
plans, establishing appropriate governance, identifying, allocating
and managing resources, and meeting reporting requirements, to
ensure project outcomes are achieved.
Eligibility
to Apply: To be eligible for appointment, applicants must
have a valid working visa (for fixed term appointments) or be an
Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and
work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent
appointments).

selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy,
it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout
the health service. In addition to this, should the successful
applicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the next
most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process.
Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12)
months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment
decision.
Other
Conditions: WA Health engages staff in positions of
trust and responsibility. WA Health policies require applicants to
undertake a criminal records screening and integrity checking as
part of the appointment process. As well as undertaking a criminal
record screening and integrity checking, you may also be required
to undertake a working with children check (if required for the
role) and a pre-employment health assessment. We may ask referees
