About The Role:

As a Grants Manager – Engagement you’re responsible for leading the strategic development, administration and management of Capital Grant and Funding Programs, overseeing both program operations and budget planning. The role negotiates complex funding agreements, maintains robust accountability systems, and provides high‑level strategic advice to internal and external stakeholders. It also builds and manages strong partnerships across agencies, leads and develops Capital Grants teams, coordinates operational activities, and drives continuous improvement in contract, program and project management capability.

As a Development Manager you’re responsible for leading and delivering initiatives that support the Division's objectives, prepare high‑level reports and advice for senior leaders, and build strategic relationships with key stakeholders. The role contributes to planning, implementing and monitoring divisional projects and strategies, represents the Division on committees and working groups, and fosters an inclusive, empowered team culture by involving staff in decision‑making and supporting their development.

As a Project Manager you’re responsible for overseeing the strategic and operational management of the Department’s key priority projects and initiatives.

The role provides project management and support to expedite the timely completion and delivery of key priority projects from inception to completion, whilst working in close coordination with the Development Manager.

This position will focus on the built form and will require qualifications and/or demonstrated experience in the construction industry as well as experience with AS2124 type contracts and contract administration, and the ability to put together construction and consultant contracts.

The position also manages strategic stakeholder engagement and collaboration to achieve project outcomes that support pathways to individual, family and community wellbeing.
