Fiona Stanley Hospital is
seeking a dedicated Nephrologist to join our team.
We currently have a fixed-term
parental leave cover available until 07 February 2027. While
this is a 0.8 FTE (64 hours per fortnight) position, we can offer
up to 1.0 FTE (full-time). We are open to discussing
negotiable hours, or other flexible working arrangements.
This is a recruitment pool for
sessional, casual, permanent full-time/part-time and fixed-term
full-time/part-time appointments with the possibility of
extension(s) and/or permanency. Suitable applicants will be placed
in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar
vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from this pool
until 30 June 2026.
In this role, you will:
- Work as part of an
interdisciplinary team
- Lead the provision of
nephrology and renal transplantation services to patients
- Promote personalied safe and
timely care
- Actively address clinical
risks and delays in patient care for individual patients
- Educate and supervise junior
medical staff and health workers.
Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) is a
783-bed tertiary hospital offering a range of health services
including the State Rehabilitation Service, a comprehensive cancer
centre, purpose-built mental health unit, maternity, paediatric and
neonatal services, and the State Adult Burns Service. FSH also
delivers specialised services such as heart and lung
transplantations and hyperbaric medicine.
