There are currently two (2) fixed term positions available for immediate filling.
We are seeking talented and motivated individuals with a passion for achieving outcomes to join the WA Stolen Generations Redress Scheme (WASGRS) team.

The Stolen Generations Redress team will deliver the WASGRS, which includes facilitating individual payments to Aboriginal people who are found eligible under the Scheme. The team will work in partnership with Aboriginal stakeholder organisations to support communications, scheme roll-out and delivery.

There are several fixed term opportunities available for up to two years in this newly established team. The positions available for immediate filling are:
- Assistant Project Officer Level 4 (DPCT4217).
- Project Support Officer Level 3 (DPCT4218).
About the Roles
As Assistant Project Officer (Level 4), you will assist with managing projects or components of the project in support of the WASGRS. You will respond to information requests and enquiries regarding the Scheme and work closely with the Project Support Officer to update and maintain records. You will be busy receiving and processing applications for the Scheme in the project Client Relationship Management (CRM) program. You will also be busy receiving and making telephone calls about individual applications to the Scheme. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment, be a strong team player and demonstrate well developed interpersonal skills when engaging with external stakeholders.
As Project Support Officer (Level 3), you will work with the Assistant Project Officer to contribute to components of the project in support of the WASGRS. You will be responsible for a diverse range of tasks and activities, ranging from responding to information requests and enquiries regarding the Scheme, receiving and processing applications using the CRM program to providing broad administrative support for the Assistant Director and the wider team. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment where the use of your initiative ability to communicate effectively and take pride in your work will be highly regarded.
These are fixed-term appointments for up to 2 years with the possibility of extension. The positions are available for immediate filling.

Eligibility
To be eligible for appointment, applicants must have a valid working visa (for fixed term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments) at the time of application.
