seeking applications for a highly capable clinical expert to lead
and manage our team at Women and Newborn Health Service (WNHS) in
recognising and responding to acute deterioration (RRAD), providing
clinical education, training and consultancy to patients and health
care professionals.
This is for
a Fixed Term, Full-Time appointment, with possibility of
extension(s) and/or permanency.
What
is our Clinical Nurse Midwife Specialist - Recognising and
Responding to Acute Deterioration (RRAD) role?
The role
provides a high level of expert clinical leadership & consultancy
across nursing, midwifery and multidisciplinary teams and
collaborates to achieve the strategic objectives and the goals of
the organisation.
Applicants
will be considered for the SRN Level 3 role as either a Clinical
Nurse Specialist, Clinical Nurse Midwife Specialist, or Clinical
Midwife Specialist based on their skills and experience. The
successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining and
overseeing the educational and preparedness of staff to provide
exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Support
the Medical Emergency Response, including maintaining policy,
procedures, documentation and evaluation associated with
resuscitation
- Provide
clinical leadership and consultancy to facilitate best practice
in education, management, and sepsis prevention.
- Improve
and promote standards of practice and the implement changes to
clinical protocols
- Initiate
research and quality improvement activities
- Provide
expert consultation services across the hospital and health
service as a clinical leader in clinical
care.
