This is a Permanent Full Time appointment.

Position Profile: The Senior BI Developer is responsible for overseeing and managing data across its entire life cycle, from initial receipt and secure storage to ensuring data quality, performing complex transformations, integrating multiple data sources and supporting well‑structured data architecture. This role requires strong capability in designing and managing modern data warehouse environments while applying contemporary data storage and processing technologies and methodologies that support reliable analytics and reporting.

The position plays a key role in advancing organisational data governance, with a focus on improving data quality, maintaining integrity, strengthening data linkages and ensuring secure and appropriate data sharing practices. Success in the role depends on the ability to apply sound conceptual thinking, analyse complex issues and develop practical solutions to drive improved data systems and insights.

Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the health service. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.

WA Health embraces diversity and is committed to eliminating all forms of discrimination in the provision of our service.

WA Health supports flexible working practices within the context of a quality health service. WA Health is committed to a smoke free environment across all buildings, grounds and vehicles.
