About the role
This role plays a key part in managing procurement activities and overseeing the full lifecycle of contract administration within the information and operational technology area. You will be responsible for the implementation, coordination and ongoing management of contracts, ensuring compliance with PTA requirements, maintaining accurate records, monitoring supplier performance and supporting the resolution of contract‑related issues. The position also works closely with divisional stakeholders, providing guidance, commercial advice and practical support to achieve effective contract outcomes.
You will contribute to the Division’s strategic sourcing activities by preparing procurement plans, developing procurement documentation and ensuring processes are completed efficiently and in line with PTA standards. With a focus on continuous improvement, the role undertakes research into better contract management and service delivery methods, supports best practice initiatives and contributes to the review and enhancement of procurement and contract management policies and procedures.
About You!
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- Demonstrated experience across the full contract lifecycle, supported by relevant commercial or trade qualifications (or equivalent experience), with the ability to assist in resolving contractual and commercial issues.
- Well‑developed written, verbal, interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence, engage and build consensus effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving capability, including proficiency in financial analysis to support sound commercial decision‑making.
- High-level planning and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise competing tasks and manage timelines in a dynamic environment.

There is one permanent full-time opportunity available for an immediate start. Applicants assessed as suitable through this process may be used to fill similar vacancies both fixed term and permanent that may arise within the next 12 months.
