About the role

This position provides high‑quality, customer‑focused secretarial and administrative support to the Manager School buses and senior staff. It manages diaries, schedules meetings, prepares agendas and minutes, handles incoming calls, and coordinates correspondence to ensure the smooth functioning of the branch. The role also supports day‑to‑day operations by assisting with routine documentation, travel arrangements, records management, payments, and the maintenance of office equipment and supplies.

In addition, the role contributes to the efficient running of School buses by delivering frontline reception support, responding to enquiries, and maintaining organised systems and processes. It undertakes research tasks, supports branch communication, and participates as an active member of the team. The position also identifies opportunities for process improvements and assists with a range of administrative activities as required, helping ensure the branch delivers responsive and effective services.

About You!

  • To excel in this role, you should possess:
  • Relevant experience providing customer‑focused administrative and/or secretarial support services.
  • Well‑developed interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with staff at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Strong organisational, time management and computer literacy skills, including the ability to work independently, use initiative, manage competing priorities, and perform high‑level word processing.
