A creative and dynamic leader is sought for the position of Chief Executive Officer, Arts and Culture Trust

The Arts and Culture Trust is established under the Arts and Culture Trust Act 2021. The Trust has broad powers to flexibly manage, care for and develop State cultural assets for future generations. The Trust has a Board of Management, with the Chief Executive Officer accountable to the Minister and Board. The Chief Executive Officer is responsible for the day to day operations of the Trust.

To be successful in this role, you will provide innovative and agile leadership to a talented team for the development and delivery of significant cultural events that balance quality, financial viability and participation. You will provide independent and expert advice to the Minister and Board, working collaboratively with other agencies to ensure that the Trust’s brand is at the forefront of statewide engagement and participation, with an emphasis on regional arts and cultural experiences.

This is a fixed term position for up to 5 years with a competitive remuneration package, including a salary of $251 823 per annum, a fully maintained motor vehicle, plus superannuation.
