An opportunity exists for a talented and
enthusiastic Clinical Nurse to join the Community Health
team in Karratha in the Pilbara.
To be successful, you will
have...
- Evidence of
significant recent post-graduate nursing experience
with demonstrated advanced nursing knowledge and skills
relevant to nominated program/service delivery
area.
- Well-developed
interpersonal skills and ability to communicate across
a diverse spectrum of the population.
- The ability to work
independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary
team.
- Understanding of the
principles and practice of Primary Health Care and the
application to practice.
- Current immunisation
certificate or willingness to obtain.
- Demonstrated knowledge
and understanding of cultural issues and social
determinants particularly relating to Aboriginal
Health.
- A current WA C class
driver’s licence and the ability to travel within the
region with possible overnight stays.
Position
Profile:
This position promotes the
health and well- being of children, families and specific
community groups using a range of health promotion, health
education, surveillance and early intervention strategies
that are based on the principles of primary health care and
service priorities.
Suitable applicants will be
placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when
similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from this
pool until 30/06/2026.
