for a talented and enthusiastic Clinical Nurse Specialist to join
the Midwest Mental Health Child and Adolescent team in
Geraldton.
To be successful, you will
have:
- Eligible for registration in the category of Registered
Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Experience in assessment, case management and therapy of
children, adolescents and their families with mental health
problems at an advanced level.
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of emotional,
behavioural, psychological and psychiatric disorders of
children and adolescents.
- Effective communication, liaison and interpersonal
skills.
- Effective negotiation, problems solving, analytical and
conflict resolution skills.
- Experience in community work and liaison.
- Sound knowledge of WA Mental Health Act 2014.
- Eligible for / or in possession of a current C or C-A Class
drivers licence.
Position Profile:
Provides a community-based child and adolescent mental health
nursing service. Demonstrates competent nursing practice by
delivering individualised care using a problem-solving approach to
children, adolescents with mental health problems and their
families.
