Rockingham Peel Group is part of the South Metropolitan Health
Service, one of the fastest growing health services in Western
Australia and comprises two hospital campuses, Rockingham General
Hospital and Murray District Hospital, in addition to community and
mental health services across Peel, Rockingham and Kwinana. As the
flagship hospital, Rockingham General is focused on providing high
quality general medical, surgical and mental health services as
well as outpatient care. Murray District Hospital offers
inpatient medical services, palliative care and allied health
services.

Currently we are seeking a Admissions Waitlist
Officer to join our team. This position provides a
comprehensive administrative and clerical service for the Elective
Surgery Waitlist team for Rockingham Peel Group (RkPG), patients,
families, and visitors. Completes administrative audits, updates
computer systems, and advises patients and hospital staff in a
timely manner along with maintaining and processing department
information in accordance with RkPG policies, procedures, and
health information system requirements.
Support the delivery of safe patient care and consumers experience
including participating in continuous quality improvement
activities in accordance with the requirements of the National and
Quality Health Service Standards and other recognised health
standards.

term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident,
