Eligibility to Apply: To be eligible for
appointment, applicants must have a valid working visa (for fixed
term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident,
or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for
permanent appointments).

Position Profile: We are currently seeking to
recruit dynamic and enthusiastic individuals to permanent and
fixed-term positions with our Community Treatment Team. In these
positions, successful applicants will work as part of a
multidisciplinary team to provide clinical and professional Social
Work services to consumers of the Community Mental Health Service
in addition to providing consultation to other staff, consumers,
families/carers, and other services. The successful applicants will
practice as a Social Worker as per the Australian Association
of Social Workers Practice Standards 2013 and Code of
ethics 2010, and/or the Society of Professional Social
Workers Code of Ethics and EMHS policies and guidelines.

Area Profile: The East Metropolitan Health
Service (EMHS) comprises an extensive hospital and health service
network that aims to maintain and improve the health and wellbeing
of more than 670,000 Western Australians in its catchment
area.
Our hospital network works together to provide a combination of
tertiary, secondary and specialist health care services including
emergency and critical care, state trauma, elective and emergency
surgery, general medical, mental health, inpatient and outpatient
services, aged care, palliative care, rehabilitation and women’s,

the State Major Adult Trauma Service, RPH offers tertiary-level

teaching hospital and contributes to innovation and excellence in
medical research and patient care.
