About the Role:

The Child and Adolescent Health Service is seeking an experienced Injury Management (IM) Business Partner to lead our Injury Management team in the development, delivery and evaluation of best-practice injury prevention, injury management and claims management services across our organisation.

Reporting to the Manager Work, Health and Injury Prevention, you will provide expert workers compensation and injury management advice, with a strong focus on early intervention, fitness for work and complex case management.

You will lead, coordinate and inspire our specialist Injury Management team, proactively engaging stakeholders across CAHS and external agencies to deliver a collaborative injury management program that supports positive recovery outcomes and effective service delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading, and developing a team of Injury Management Consultants and support staff to deliver best practice IM advice and services across our organisation.
  • Engaging with stakeholders and leveraging data analysis to identify and drive proactive early intervention practices across the organisation, support decision-making, inform priorities and enable continuous improvement.
  • Leading claims management review processes and attending conciliation, review and legal meetings as required.
  • Ensuring accurate record-keeping, reporting and compliance with legislative and organisational requirements.
  • Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders including the Insurance Commission of Western Australia and representing CAHS on internal and external forums, committees and working groups related to injury management.
