This is a permanent
full-time position. Part time 0.9 FTE (68.4 hours) or job share may
be considered for the right applicants.
Position Profile: In
partnership with the Apheresis Medical Director, this role is
responsible for: -
- The
delivery of the portfolio of apheresis procedures and promoting
quality patient care and patient safety.
- Supervising the delivery
of quality patient care, through developing standards of
practice, implementing changes to clinical practice, staff
education, initiating research, applying quality improvement
initiatives and maintaining compliance to the apheresis
collection facility quality standards.
- Providing a consultation
service within their area of expertise and working
collaboratively to improve the quality of patient care and
promote desired outcomes in the patient population, which
includes patients with complex needs, within the inpatient and
ambulatory care setting.
- Participation in an
on-call roster is a requirement of this position.

experience in critical care nursing in a paediatric care

upskilling in specific procedures available to support your
transition to this role.
