About The Role:

The Senior Budget and Cash Reporting Officer contributes to the development and implementation of the Department’s budget and cash management framework, supporting effective forward planning and clear communication with key stakeholders. The role provides significant financial analysis and specialist advice in relation to budget development, budget monitoring, forecasting, resource allocation and tracking funding receipts. This position also contributes to the preparation and coordination of annual budget processes, including budget inputs and adjustments. The role is accountable for cash management activities, including cash monitoring, cash forecasting and reporting cash outcomes, to ensure that all Department of Housing and Works operating entities have sufficient funds to meet their obligations.
