Nurses with Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) Recovery
experience to join our dynamic team at Sir Charles Gairdner
Hospital (SCGH) Mental Health Unit (MHU) - ECT
Suite.
This is for a
Permanent or Fixed Term Part Time appointment up to 45.6 hours per
fortnight (0.6 FTE) . Fixed Term appointments will be made with the
possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.
What is our
Registered Nurse - ECT Recovery role?
This position, as part of a
multidisciplinary team, provides comprehensive and evidence-based
nursing care to patients, facilitates and promotes patient safety
and quality of care in the MHU ECT Suite. The Registered Nurse
practices within their scope of practice considerate of the Nursing
and Midwifery Board’s Nursing Practice Decision

Eligibility to Apply:
Australian citizenship or permanent
residency is an essential requirement for applicants to be
considered for permanent positions in the public sector. To be
eligible for a fixed term appointment you must have documentary
evidence of your entitlement to live and work in Australia for the
period of the contract.
Whilst this
selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy,
it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout
the health service. In addition to this, should the successful
applicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the next
most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process.
Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12)
months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment
decision.
