This is a appointment for Permanent Full Time at 75 hours per fortnight

Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to appoint to similar positions that may arise throughout the health service within the next twelve (12) months on a full-time, part-time, permanent or fixed-term basis with the possibility of further extension(s) and/or permanency.

Position Profile:  This is an incredibly exciting time to be working in the Intergovernmental Relations and National Policy team at the WA Department of Health. A focus on wide-ranging and high-profile national system reforms creates exceptional opportunities for our WA Health system. 

The Manager, Intergovernmental Relations, plays a key part in realising these opportunities by leading a team that delivers high level policy advice and undertakes complex research and analysis in relation to the development, coordination, implementation, and review of Government priorities from a whole-of health system, cross portfolio and national perspective.

Eligibility to Apply: To be eligible for appointment, applicants must have a valid working visa (for fixed term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments).
 
Other Conditions:  WA Health engages staff in positions of trust and responsibility. WA Health policies require applicants to undertake a criminal records screening and integrity checking as part of the appointment process. As well as undertaking a criminal record screening and integrity checking, you may also be required to undertake a working with children check (if required for the role) and a pre-employment health assessment.
