About the role
Lead the transformation of corporate information systems at the Public Transport Authority. As Manager, Corporate Information Systems (CIS), you will play a pivotal role in delivering reliable, secure and efficient business systems that underpin critical operations across the organisation. This position is responsible for overseeing system administration, maintenance and continuous improvement, ensuring compliance with PTA standards and best practices. Systems managed by the team include the; Electronic Document and Records Management System, Intranet, Project Management System, and Enterprise Incidents, Hazards, Risk, Inspection and Audit System. You will manage vendor relationships, contracts and licensing to achieve cost-effective, high-quality solutions, while driving strategic initiatives that align technology with organisational goals.
The role provides strong leadership to a skilled team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture through workforce planning, staff development and performance management. You will identify opportunities for innovation, process optimisation and risk mitigation, ensuring privacy, security and continuity of essential information systems. With responsibility for service delivery, project oversight and strategic advice, this position offers the chance to influence outcomes and shape the future of digital systems within a dynamic public transport environment. There is one permanent full-time opportunity available for an immediate start. Applicants assessed as suitable through this process may be used to fill similar vacancies both fixed term and permanent that may arise within the next 12 months.
