Position Profile: We are
seeking a motivated and experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to
join our team at the Child and Adolescent Health Service (CAHS).
This role will see you responsible for planning, coordinating, and
evaluating clinical support and training opportunities for Child
and Adolescent Community Health nursing staff, specifically
focusing on adolescent mental health and wellbeing. Key
responsibilities include contributing to the development of
strategic plans and policies, providing clinical advice to nursing
leadership, and monitoring and reporting on performance in this
critical area.
The successful candidate will possess a strong clinical
background in adolescent health nursing, excellent leadership and
communication skills, and the ability to develop and implement
innovative solutions to enhance service delivery, using a project
management approach. You will collaborate with internal and
external stakeholders, implement quality improvement initiatives,
and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and organizational

About Child & Adolescent Community
Health (CACH): Community Health provides health and
developmental assessments, early intervention and health promotion
services for children and young people.
These services are provided in the community across the Perth
metropolitan area at community health centres, in schools, home
visits and through telehealth appointments. Services focus on child
health, growth and development, behaviour, immunisation and
supporting families.
