DEED’s Strategy, Performance and
International Engagement provides strategic policy advice on state
development issues and supports a network of international offices
to promote Western Australia and its industries and encourages
strategic investment and trade opportunities.
As our Project
Officer, you will play a vital part in delivering projects
and activities that align with both agency priorities and broader
Government strategic objectives. You will contribute to a
coordinated Whole of Government response for all Foreign Investment
Review Board (FIRB) requests, support the implementation of the
investment and trade plan, and provide research and analysis that
informs key decisions and drives meaningful outcomes.
Your work will help create
high‑quality investment and trade materials for audiences at home
and abroad, ensuring every product and partnership reflects
strategic intent. You will build strong relationships across
Government and industry, collaborate closely with teams across
DEED, and respond to stakeholder enquiries with professionalism and
timeliness. With a strong client‑focused mindset, you will
represent the agency at meetings, forums and functions,
contributing to a cohesive and forward‑looking investment and trade
agenda.
