About the
OPPORTUNITY
In this position the
occupant examines patients in a professional manner and provides
diagnostic services as required by the medical
profession.
To be successful
in this role, you will have…
- Knowledge of
radiographic principles, procedures, and standards with
competent adaptation of techniques to suit non-routine and
trauma situations
- An
awareness of the importance of patient safety, welfare and
privacy, radiation protection procedures and radiation
legislative dose limits
- An
ability to work in an unsupervised capacity
- Effective
interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
including ability to liaise with all levels of service delivery
staff
- An
ability to diagnose simple imaging equipment
faults/failures
