Position
Profile: The Senior Project Officer
manages and coordinates the development, implementation and
evaluation of immunisation projects to achieve project outcomes and
support the achievement of divisional and organisational objectives
aimed at increasing the level of immunisation across the
community.
Key Responsibilities
include:
- Engage with and
collaborate with individuals, communities and immunisation
providers to understand experiences and motivations regarding
access to immunisation, and authentically co-design
evidence-based initiatives to address immunisation
barriers
- Monitor progress and
leads evaluation for a range of health promotion immunisation
projects, all aspects of project implementation, including risk
and contingency management, benefits realisation, project
impact and quality measures, to identify and address issues,
assess progress and effectiveness, and achieve project outcomes
which aim to improve state-wide immunisation coverage. This
includes the planning and development of promotional material
including web based and other digital information, coordinating
resources, meeting reporting requirements, and supporting
project-related activities, to ensure required outcomes are
achieved within agree timelines and quality
standards.
- Oversee development and
delivery of immunisation social marketing, education and
promotion programs and coordinates the maintenance and updating
of the Program’s immunisation and disease control related
websites, publications and printed resources aimed at improving
immunisation rates.

Eligibility to
Apply: To be eligible for appointment, applicants
must have a valid working visa (for fixed term appointments) or be
an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live
and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent
appointments).
Other
Conditions: WA Health engages staff in
positions of trust and responsibility. WA Health policies require
applicants to undertake a criminal records screening and integrity
checking as part of the appointment process. As well as undertaking
a criminal record screening and integrity checking, you may also be
required to undertake a working with children check (if required
for the role) and a pre-employment health assessment. We may ask
