This pool is for opportunities for employment as a Registered or Enrolled nurse across Sir Charles Gairdner (SCGH) & Osborne Park (OPH) Hospitals.

Opportunities include Permanent Full Time, Permanent Part Time, Fixed Term Full Time, Fixed Term Part Time and Casual appointments. Fixed Term appointments will be made with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency. 

This is an “open-ended” recruitment pool, and as such the following should be noted:

  • The panel will monitor this recruitment pool for applications and will assess on a regular basis.
  • Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when vacancies occur matching your identified skills. All efforts are made to ensure employment can be offered within a timely manner.
  • Appointments may be made from this pool until 30/06/2026.
  • Local, interstate and international applicants are encouraged to apply.

About this role

This position, under the direction of the relevant Senior Registered Nurse(s), practises as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse (as applicable) and meets the NMBAs professional standards to practise in Australia. RN and EN provide comprehensive, evidence-based person centred nursing care to patients as part of a multidisciplinary team, as well as upholds and functions within the core values of the organisation and nursing values of Care, Respect, Innovation, Teamwork & Integrity. Both roles report to the Nurse Manager.

  2. A current resume or curriculum vitae which summarises your experience and contains phone & email contact details of 2 professional nursing referees (Mandatory), with at least 1 being a current or recent manager and/or senior nurse.
    • Please ensure to provide correct email address of your referees to allow for efficient processing of your application if your application is successful.
    • References from colleagues that are in a supervisory role cannot be accepted.
    • An address to the selection criteria is not required.
  3. 2 x preferences of work specialty. Within the application you will have the opportunity to indicate your top 2 wards/department preferences you wish to apply for. While we strive to accommodate these preferences whenever possible, final placement decisions are based on business needs.
