Position
Profile:
Midwife: The
primary responsibility of the Midwife is to deliver comprehensive,
evidence-based midwifery care for clients within the scope of
practice of a Midwife. To provide clinical supervision for Newly
Qualified Midwives and students, dependant on level of
experience.
Midwife –
Caseload: To provide competent, holistic, evidence-based
midwifery care within the scope of a Midwife, within a caseload
model of care (known as Midwife Group Practice). Provides
continuity of midwifery care throughout the continuum of pregnancy,
labour, birth, and the postnatal period.
The occupant of this position
is required to demonstrate a positive commitment to modelling our

of Conduct in all aspects of their employment. Compliance with all
relevant policies, procedures, standards and legislation including
Confidentiality and Work Health and Safety policies is
mandatory.
