Position
Profile: We are seeking Aboriginal Health Workers who can
deliver culturally appropriate health care to the Aboriginal
community in line with a primary health care philosophy. The role
involves promoting self-care and encouraging personal
responsibility for health, while ensuring all duties are performed
in accordance with Child and Adolescent Health Service and Child
and Adolescent Community Health Service policies and
procedures
The Child and
Adolescent Health Service (CAHS) is proud to be the
leading service provider for paediatric healthcare in Western
Australia, as the State’s only dedicated health service for
infants, children and young people. CAHS is made up four service
areas: Neonatology, Community Health, Child and Adolescent Mental
Health Services (CAMHS), and Perth Children’s Hospital (PCH).
Consisting of over 6,500 employees, our services are delivered at
PCH and King Edward Memorial Hospital (KEMH), as well as across a
network of more than 160 community clinics across the metropolitan
area.

Eligibility to
Apply: To be eligible for appointment, applicants must
have a valid working visa (for fixed term appointments) or be an
Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and
work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent
appointments).

This vacancy is
to be filled within the WA Government Health System by secondment,
temporary deployment or Fixed Term Contract. Current WA Government
Health employees (including permanent, fixed term contract and
