for a talented and enthusiastic Clinical Nurse Specialist to join
the team at Yalgoo Nursing Post in the
Midwest.
Living in Yalgoo, Western

To be successful, you will
have...
- Knowledge and understanding of the principles of Primary
Health Care and Community Development
- Broad nursing experience with recent accident and emergency
skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a
multi-disciplinary team in a remote Aboriginal Community or
cross-cultural setting.
- Effective interpersonal and written and verbal
communication skills.
- Well-developed problem solving and negotiation skills.
- Pharmacology competency.
- Eligible for / or in possession of a current C or C-A Class
drivers licence and the ability and willingness to travel in
small aircraft, including overnight stays away from home.
- Current knowledge of legislative and regulatory
requirements in the areas of Equal Opportunity, Disability
Services and Occupational Safety & Health, and how these impact
on employment, people management and service delivery.

Profile:
To work as a member of a
multidisciplinary team within a Primary Health Care framework in
partnership with the community and other organisations. To provide
planned, coordinated and comprehensive primary health and emergency
care to members of the community.
