Position
Profile:
Provides management and clinical leadership
within the intensive care/high dependency inpatient area Geraldton
Hospital to ensure safe effective and efficient service provision.
Provides support to the Coordinator of Nursing and Midwifery in
developing and implementing goals of inpatient intensive care/high
dependency service provision including human and material resource
management, safety and quality agenda and governance
processes.
To be successful, you will
have...
- Advanced clinical knowledge and
experience in the delivery of evidenced based nursing care
incorporating quality and risk management within the Intensive
Care Unit services.
- Well developed clinical leadership skills
including leading change.
- Well developed skills to manage people,
material and environmental resources to achieve high quality
consumer centred care.
- Advanced interpersonal skills and
communication (written and verbal) skills including negotiation
and conflict resolution.
- Expert knowledge and application of
research and best practice principles.
- Computer literacy and an ability to
utilise information systems.
- Current knowledge of legislative and
regulatory requirements in the areas of Equal Opportunity,
Disability Services and Occupational Safety & Health, and how
these impact on employment, people management and service
delivery.
- Eligible for / or in
possession of a current C or C-A Class drivers
licence..
