About the role

The Office of the Commissioner for Victims of Crime is looking to fill multiple positions within the following roles:

Level 4 Victim Engagement Officer

The Victim Engagement Officer (VEO) is responsible for providing case management and victim engagement services for the Unit under direction. The position provides accurate information and advice to stakeholders, prepares reports and contributes to business improvement.

Level 5 Senior Victim Engagement Officer

The Senior Victim Engagement Officer (VEO) provides case management and victim engagement services for the Unit under direction. This role will contribute to standard service delivery in Metro or Regional areas and is responsible for assessing and managing complex cases, providing expertise and guidance to the victim engagement team and ensuring the delivery of victim engagement services.

Level 5 Senior Victim Engagement Officer (FDV)

The Senior VEO (FDV) provides case management and victim engagement services for the Unit under direction. This role will contribute to service delivery in Metro or Regional areas and is responsible for assessing and managing complex FDV cases, providing expertise and guidance to the victim engagement team and ensuring the delivery of victim engagement services.

Eligibility

Permanent positions – To be eligible for appointment to permanent positions in the West Australian Public Sector you must be an Australian citizen or have permanent resident status in Australia.

WWC positions – In accordance with the National Child Safety Principles, people who work directly with children and young people, you must have a current Working with Children Check or be able to successfully apply for one to be eligible for appointment to this position.

Special Conditions – Regional position holders must hold a current and valid ‘C’ class driver’s licence.
