About the Role 

The Goldfields–Esperance Region is looking for an experienced and motivated Asset Manager to join our team in Boulder.

In this role, you will coordinate and review the Regional Network Plan and Asset Link Plans, monitor their implementation, and identify priorities and solutions that optimise the performance of the regional road network. You will adapt and apply asset management models to support robust planning and decision-making, ensuring alignment with agreed service levels, intervention standards, and environmental and product requirements.

You will also contribute to the development of the Ten-Year Network Plan and the Annual Works Program for improvement, maintenance, and rehabilitation across the Goldfields-Esperance region.

As a leader, you will manage financial, technological, physical and human resources to achieve agreed outcomes. You will guide and support employees, fostering positive performance and professional growth, and contribute to the development and successful delivery of the Regional Business Plan.

While the position is primarily based in Boulder, occasional travel throughout the Goldfields–Esperance Region will be required.

About You

To be considered for this role you must have the following;

  • Demonstrated experience in one or more of road and/or bridge planning, design, construction or maintenance.
  • Road asset management experience.
  • The ability to manage employee behaviour, performance and development.
  • Substantial experience in research, analysis and problem solving.
  • The ability to naturally work with others and build positive working relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • A strong customer service focus, especially in supporting local communities.
