Government Dental Clinic team at Dental Health Services
(DHS).
This is for a Permanent Full-Time

What is our Dental
Clinic Assistant role?
The Dental Clinic Assistant supports the
Dentist in the day to day administration and running of the clinic
as well as providing chairside clinical assistance. This role
involves assisting during the examination and treatment of
patients. You are also responsible for maintaining patient records
in accordance with Dental Health Service policies.
Travel to outreach services and Aboriginal
communities in surrounding areas is required in this
role.

Location
This position is in the Fitzroy
Crossing Dental Clinic. Fitzroy Crossing is a small town
in the Kimberley region of Western Australia, 400 kilometres
(250 mi) east of Broome and 300 kilometres
(190 mi) west of Halls Creek. It is approximately 2,524
kilometres (1,568 mi) from the state capital of Perth. It
is 114 metres (374 ft) above sea level and is situated on a
low rise surrounded by the vast floodplains of the Fitzroy
River and its tributary Margaret River.

public dental health services provider in WA, operating state-wide
from a network of fixed and mobile clinics, funded by the WA
Government. DHS provides the School Dental Service for children
aged 5-16 years, General Dental Services to eligible adults with a

Schemes and Special Dental Services.
