join our dynamic Hedland Government Dental Clinic team at Dental
Health Services (DHS).
This is for a
Permanent Full-Time appointment.
What
is our Dental Clinic Assistant role?
The Dental Clinic Assistant
supports the Dentist in the day to day administration and running
of the clinic as well as providing chairside clinical assistance.
This role involves assisting during the examination and treatment
of patients. You are also responsible for maintaining patient
records in accordance with Dental Health Service
policies.
Travel to outreach services
and Aboriginal communities in surrounding areas is required in this
role.

Location
This position is in the
Hedland Dental Clinic located on the Hedland Health Campus in South
Hedland. Hedland is the gateway to the Pilbara region. The second
largest town, rich in mining history with the highest tonnage port
in Australia. Around 1800km from Perth, the lifestyle is relaxed
and being perched on the Indian Ocean coastline provides a variety
of leisure activities. The Pilbara is embedded in Hamersley Ranges
including ready access to the rugged beauty of Karijini National
Park, with its spectacular natural gorges, waterfalls, and pools
perfect for hiking and walking. Or head north to the Kimberley,
pull off the Great Northern Highway at Eighty Mile Beach and be
treated to the rare sight of flatback turtles nesting on the white
sandy beaches. The year round sunshine makes it the perfect
location for enjoying all that nature offers on your weekends
off.

process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may
also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the
health service. In addition to this, should the successful

most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process.
Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12)
months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment
