The Role
This position is responsible for the development and standard of cataloguing services across the Learning Resource Services Network (LRSN), providing guidance on the use and operation of local and national bibliographic databases.

Provide technical advice and support to the LRSN Systems Librarian.

Works in a collaborative and supporting team environment with the LRSN Systems Librarian.

Maintains appropriate professional networks.

To be successful in this role you will ideally have experience in original cataloguing using tools such as AACR2 and RDA, DDC and LCSH, and electronic library management systems, coming from a libraries background within TAFE or similar organisations; with a focus on the stakeholder engagement and support, and the creation, implementation, and maintenance of cataloguing policies and procedures.

As a measure to achieve equality under sections 51, 66R and 66ZP of the Equal Opportunity Act 1984, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, young people (24 years of age and under) and people with disability who meet the requirements of the position may be prioritised for appointment.
