About The Role:

The Manager Enterprise Procurement leads and directs the provision of procurement services, including procurement planning, development, sourcing, contract management and risk management activities, to achieve value for money and to meet business needs and government directions on procurement and contract management.

The role provides the first point of contact for procurement and contract management support and advice across the organisation.  It provides expert advice on contract conditions and administration to procurement professionals and stakeholders to support informed decision making and improve future contract outcomes. Lastly, it provides strategic advice to enable stakeholders to gain maximum benefit from the contract, including identifying and facilitating contract variations to achieve improved outcomes, while maintaining compliance.

About You:

You are a self-motivated procurement specialist with excellent communications skills and can engage with stakeholders at various levels. This opportunity is suited to some who would like to have hands on experience in managing the procurement of goods and services for the Department, gain an understanding of the purchasing requirements across various directorates and be a central point of contact for procurement advice.

This position operates in Personal Leadership context. This means that you are required to demonstrate personal accountability for delivering excellence and support your team and agency in delivering strategic goals. You will be expected to build and nurture relationships and be willing to seek feedback and learn.
