What is our Consumer
Consultant role?
Our Consumer Consultants contribute a consumer perspective to
guide the North Metropolitan Health Service Mental Health, and
Dental Health Services, Community Adult Mental Health Service in
service planning, development, and evaluation of programs.
In this role, you will Identify and engage relevant consumer
networks, promoting and coordinating consumer participation and
feedback processes that will enable contribution to planning,
development, evaluation, and system-wide improvement.
We anticipate the Consumer Consultants may be asked to attend 2
sessions per month, each session approximately 3 hours, to
contribute consumer perspectives to regular meetings, focussed on
evaluation and improvement of our services, and to service
improvement initiatives arising from these meetings.

Eligibility to Apply: To be eligible for a
casual appointment you must have documentary evidence of your
entitlement to live and work in Australia for the period of the
contract.
