join our dynamic Kununurra Government Dental Clinic team at Dental
Health Services (DHS).
This is for a
Permanent Full Time appointment.
What
is our Dental Clinic Assistant role?
The Dental Clinic Assistant
supports the Dentist in the day to day administration and running
of the clinic as well as providing chairside clinical assistance.
This role involves assisting during the examination and treatment
of patients. You are also responsible for maintaining patient
records in accordance with Dental Health Service
policies.

Location
Whilst this position is
based in Kununurra, regular visits are made to Halls Creek, Balgo
Hills and Kalumburu. Accommodation and allowances are payable
whilst outreach services are being provided at the designated
stopping points.
Kununurra is the gateway
town to the East Kimberley and just 45km from the border of the
Northern Territory. Kununurra is the perfect base for the outdoor
enthusiast and is full of stunning natural beauty. Hiking trails,
gorges and waterfalls await for you to explore on your weekends
off. Pack up the 4WD and explore all the Kimberly region has to
offer, or even a weekend trip into the Northern Territory to
explore the national parks and rugged coastline. You will never be
short of something to do.

funded by the WA Government. DHS provides the School Dental Service

Eligibility to Apply:
Australian
citizenship or permanent residency is an essential requirement for
applicants to be considered for permanent positions in the public
sector. To be eligible for a fixed term appointment you must have
documentary evidence of your entitlement to live and work in
Australia for the period of the contract.
Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the
above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar"
vacancies throughout the health service. In addition to this,
should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised
vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected
from this process. Both of these options remain valid for a period
of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses
the recruitment decision.
