About The Role:
The Project Support Officer is responsible for liaising with clients and project officers regarding the initiation and progress of routine maintenance and property services works and preparing contract documentation for routine maintenance contracts using templates.
This position also assists in tendering works and assessing submissions, managing and administering non-complex contracts in accordance with documentation, and assisting in the preparation of annual maintenance programs for clients.
About You:
The ideal candidates must have a can-do attitude and good interpersonal skills. Building industry experience and/or a related maintenance/contracting background would be advantageous.
Building maintenance services can present unforeseen challenges. As such, leadership, communication, and problem-solving are critical skills sets to achieve first-class service and delivery outcomes. The position comes with a great deal of autonomy while operating within the boundaries of the Department's policies and processes. It oversees a large and dispersed geographical area, and the flexibility to travel is required.
The position operates in Personal Leadership context. This means that you are required to demonstrate personal accountability for delivering excellence and support your team and agency in delivering strategic goals. You will be expected to build and nurture relationships and be willing to seek feedback and learn.
