Do you have a background working in an ICT service desk environment and would like to step up into a supervisory role in a complex organisation?
This is an exciting opportunity to join North Regional TAFE in a dynamic role located in the beautiful Northwest of Australia which is home to the world’s oldest continuing cultures.
We are seeking a flexible and responsive ICT practitioner to join the College as the Service Desk Coordinator. As the Service Desk Coordinator, you play a critical role in overseeing and managing the service desk team in the provision of quality advice and technical ICT support services to a range of clients.
As the Service Desk Coordinator, you will be responsible for SOE development and deployment, as well as providing ongoing maintenance, support and resolution of complex hardware and software problems.
This position has flexibility to be based at either the Karratha or Broome campus; however regular travel to other North Regional TAFE campuses across the Pilbara and Kimberley regions is required.
If you have demonstrated experience in supervising an ICT team, strong technical proficiency in network administration of desktop environment operating systems using tools such as SCCM, ZENWORKS, ALTIRIS, we want to hear from you!

Other Conditions and Eligibility
Eligibility for employment is subject to obtaining a satisfactory Department of Education Criminal Clearance. If this position involves contact with children, the recommended occupant will also be required to obtain a Working with Children (WWC) Card.
To be eligible for appointment Australian Citizenship, relevant visa or permanent residency is required.
All new staff at NR TAFE are required to have a current WA ‘C’ class driver’s licence as regular travel is required between campuses.
This selection process may be used to identify suitable applicants for similar vacancies that arise within the next 12 months.
An executive search may also be conducted to supplement the field of applicants.
