About The Role:

The Manager Enterprise Information Management and Governance leads the development and execution of the Department’s Information Management Strategy to ensure that information is created, stored and managed across the organisation, and is defined consistently and accurately across systems, in a way that supports its accessibility and security throughout content lifecycles.

The role provides specialist and compelling advice on information governance and will implement measures to strengthen controls and promote compliance. The role is also responsible for developing departmental information security and classification policy (in line with broader government policies) and ensuring its effective implementation as part of overall information management efforts.

About You:

You are a strategic and experienced professional with a strong background in enterprise information management, governance, and compliance. You bring a deep understanding of legislation, standards, and best practices in records and data management, and are confident leading initiatives that enhance information security, classification, and accessibility. With excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, you champion a values-led culture and drive continuous improvement aligned with organisational and public sector priorities.

This position operates in the context of Leading Others. This means that you will motivate and enable others to deliver high quality work. You will balance time between doing the work and coaching, guiding and developing others. This requires a significant shift in thinking from ‘doing’ to supporting others to ‘do good work’; and consideration of present and future needs when allocating time to the team and projects you lead. You will articulate how work is to be done, providing clear direction and feedback.

How to Apply:

If you have what it takes to be part of our dynamic and forward-thinking team, submit the following in MS Word or PDF format only:

Please ensure you apply before the closing deadline as we won’t accept late and incomplete applications.
