About The Role:
The Manager Works Business Support is responsible for overseeing the support of business applications related to the delivery of works-based maintenance, projects and contracts. This involves managing a small team which ensures the timely delivery of high-quality application support services, to ensure outcomes are delivered that meet corporate objectives and internal and external client needs.
About You:
You will be passionate about delivering a great experience to a wide range of different customers, experienced in leading a team delivering support services to customers with varying prioriites, highly skilled in the analysis of system and process problems, and understand the need for compliance with business process and policy. You will have knowledge of works-based maintenance, project and contracts processes.
This position operates in the context of Leading Others. This means that you will motivate and enable others to deliver high quality work. You will balance time between doing the work and coaching, guiding and developing others. This requires a significant shift in thinking from ‘doing’ to supporting others to ‘do good work’; and consideration of present and future needs when allocating time to the team and projects you lead. You will articulate how work is to be done, providing clear direction and feedback.
