This is a Recruitment Pool for Permanent Full Time, Permanent
Part Time, Fixed Term Full Time and Fixed Term Part Time at various
hours per fortnight, with the possibility of extension and/or
permanency.
Position Profile: We are seeking enthusiastic
and motivated nurses to the role of Clinical Nurse in Ward 3C
– Surgical Short Stay, located at Perth Children’s
Hospital.
Ward 3C is a diverse 60-bed surgical unit that comprises
surgical admissions, same day surgery, surgical short stay
overnight ward and the Pre-and-Post Anaesthesia Nursing Service
(PPANS); with employees trained and rostered to work across each of
these areas.
As part of the multidisciplinary team, this Clinical Nurse (CN)
position provides clinical and professional expertise to ensure
comprehensive evidence-based nursing care is delivered to patients
and their families. The position acts as a clinical resource to
others internal and external to the unit, facilitates and promotes
patient safety and quality of care, and demonstrates leadership in
practice and in the support of others. The Clinical Nurse role
supports the Clinical Nurse Manager and Staff Development Nurse
team in meeting service delivery objectives while exemplifying the
values of the organisation, national standards, and quality
improvement initiatives.
